The perfect name for the latest offering by seasoned restaurateurs Janine and Michael Glennon. Their love of food, wine and stunning scenery brought both to Colorado in the 1990’s. Michael and Janine met at highly regarded Sweet Basil restaurant and moved together to local favorite, Montauk Seafood Grill where they were soon working as executive chef and restaurant manager. In 1999, they took their skills to Avon, Colorado where, at the foot of Beaver Creek, they opened Vista Restaurant. Their motto of “Good Food, Nice People” quickly gained them a loyal following.  They moved to Edwards, CO renaming the restaurant, Vista at Arrowhead  in 2007 operating it until December 31, 2015. Since we are family owned, we occasionally modify our hours of operation to accommodate our once a month wine tasting dinners and also to assist our small staff with special occassions.  We sincerely hope this does not inconvenience you and hope you understand!

Michael and Janine’s passion for great food and good wine along with their emphasis for friendly people has recently found renewed energy in this Castle Rock Restaurant. VistaVino sets the latest stage for Michael’s creative cuisine combining influences from around the world with a Tuscan focus. The views are now of Castle Rock, Janine carefully selects the wines, the food is better than ever; all are served with confidence and care.

Castle Rock one of the safest places in Colorado, according to recent report

When choosing where to live or work, there are many factors to consider. For many, the most important factor is safety, and Castle Rock was once again ranked as one of the safest places in the state.

Security system company Safe Home recently ranked the top 25 safest communities in Colorado. Castle Rock came in at No. 5. Nationally, Castle Rock ranked in the top 25th percentile.

Safe Home used a variety of factors to determine the ratings, including: the FBI’s latest report on types and frequency of crimes, crime trends, and the ratio of law enforcement officers to residents. These factors result in an overall safety score on a 100-point scale. Castle Rock’s score was 84.97.

Public safety is a priority in Castle Rock. This year, the public safety focus has been on constructing a new fire station and adding police officers.
